Amazon introduces Fire iPad at ￥499 to China

According to the confirmed news from Kindle, Amazon introduces the brand new Fire iPad to Chinese market, selling at ￥499.

This 7-inch iPad applies IPS screen. The anti blue-ray function allows users to read in the nights. It uses 4-core processor and equips front and rear camera. The pictures will be stored in the Amazon cloud when users take pictures with the iPad. The additional storage space is 128GB. Its battery life lasts for 6 hours for comprehensive browsing, while it lasts for 9 hours if they only use it to read articles.

The iPad includes three contents: literature reading, English learning and movies&music entertainment. It has access to over 270,000 Kindle online stores by connecting the internet. There are over 10 thousands of famous literature works, news and books to download for free.

It is worthing to note that this iPad it is an important device to improve English ability. The Kindle stores have over 130,000 famous works from home and abroad and English textbooks.

It recommends reader some books according to their reading preference. What is more, they can check the new vocabularies at any time or translate the whole sentences. It offers two versions for pronunciation. Users can correct their pronunciation when listening. 

Microsoft ends Zune service: bundled software still effective

Microsoft finally decided to end its Zune digital music service. Zune service was launched in 2006 and was aimed at competing with popular iPod and iTunes then.

It is a pity that its experience seems to be out-of- date even though Zune service provided some excellent services in comparison with other similar products. It failed to attract more subscribers like other streaming music services.

Zune requires on-board storage space and is able to provide plug and play media player. To apply such feature, it requires users to log in the accounts in relate to DRM.

Because of Microsoft converted its music service mode, that is, it has Groove Music app built-in in Windows 10, leading to the end of Zune service.

The good news is users can still transfer MP3 files to other devices via Zune bundled software even though Zune music is no longer to play related subscription DRM content.

Surface Pro 4 endurance doesn't perform well

Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book have been receiving favorable comment since they released. But the users got disappointed when they were post marketing as these two devices have bugs.

Among those bugs, the batter endurance is worst. Many users complained that the battery of Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book run quickly, even though the devices are on stand-by states.

Now, the reason why the battery run quickly has figured out. It is caused by Windows Hello, the biometric login system of Windows 10.

As reported, if Windows Hello is running in the backstage, the endurance of Surface Pro 4 under connected standby is only 5 years. When users exit Windows Hello, its endurance of connected standby can last for 87 hours. There is a great gap under these two situations.

It is better to disable Windows Hello for Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book users. They can click settings> account>login to find Windows Hello.

Microsoft doesn't confirm this news year. It might update some application to fix this bug in the near future. 

Microsoft appointed Hong Xiaowen as its senior vice president

Microsoft announced that it appointed Hong Xiaowen as its senior vice president. He was the chairman of Microsoft Asia-Pacific R&D group and the dean of Microsoft Research Asia  reported on October 27.

Hong has been working in Microsoft for 20 years. He is the chief scientist of Microsoft as well as the expert for voice recognition. He joined Microsoft in 1995 as a senior researcher in its US headquarter institute. He worked as the vice dean of Microsoft Research Asia in 2004 and was promoted as its dean in 2007.

Mr Hong also worked as the chairman of Asian R& D group of Microsoft in 2014. In the meanwhile, he started and led STC from 2005 to 2007. The STC concerns the launch of Bing in China.

During his 8 years hard work as the dean of Microsoft Research Asia, he led his team to provide technical support for Bing, Office, Azure, PowerBI, Windows and Xbox.

Google takeovers Divshot of HTML5

It reports that Google will takeover development platform Divshot and it will be integrated to its subsidary iCloud service company Firebase. Divshot senior manager has confirmed the mentioned news through Firebase. In the meanwhile, it announced that Divshot service will be officially closed down on December 14, 2015.

"Look into the future, our team will make all concerted efforts to help Firebase Hosting to provide better experience for publishers", said Michael Bleigh, the engineer of Divshot.

Soon after this announcement, Divshot will make instructive documents of guiding the existing users to move to Firebase. In addition, Divshot announced Firebase's Command Line Interface for its users as well. Such interface offers inconvenience for the developers to use its local Superstatic database.

How to remove Multisim

Google Class will support Chrome Extensions

Google Class is a free educational application kit launched by Google last September. This service was designed and launched by the cooperation of Google Team and teachers in the hope of helping teachers to connect, communicate with students so that effectively carrying out teaching tasks.

Google announced its update on Google Class recently. And it addressed on September 4 again that Google Class will support Chrome Extensions. The new update will help the students to find out the study materials quickly.

This new feature is called " Share to Classroom". With the help of Share to Classroom, the teachers will be able to download and apply Chrome Extensions so that they could deliver the links to the students in class as soon as possible. They just need to click the Google Extensions, the current tab will be dragged automatically.

Teachers can click the link they sent to their students, it will show the students' current tabs.

Students can share the subject related links with classmates, while the teachers can check who share the links with others at the same time. It can effectively prevent students from using this feature as they wish.
