Facebook is about to disable Notify

Facebook's breaking news application Notify was introduced to App Store seven months ago, however, Facebook removed it from the shelf on Thursday.

The statement of Facebook's spokesman sent to The Verge indicated that Notify technology will be integrated to Messenger. Therefore, the content creators will access to more users who are interested in real-time news.

Notify users receive the notification that Facebook will disable this app in succession. The notification wrote: "We will remove part of Notify applications to other Facebook products."

Users can integrate CNN, Vogue, The Weather Channel medium via Notify to access breaking news feeds. Then users can save the related reports for offline reading on Notify later.

Notify failed to get more attention at App Store. According to the statistics made by App Annie, Notify ranked 286th among the news apps at App Store on June 1st.

Some experts predicted that Notify will be great help for Messenger chatting robot's launch. The popularity of chatting robot is still at low rate at present.
